Hello Driftless community!
We hope you are safe and healthy. We miss being out and about in the Midwest, and we know you do too! After the past two months it’s become clear to us that we aren’t going to be able to safely finish our upcoming Issue 13. Each of our issues involves traveling and interacting with so many incredible people and places and we want everyone to remain as safe as possible.
Although it had not yet been announced, we had planned for 2020 to be the final year for our print publication. As a result of the current situation, we’ve made the difficult decision to end this beautiful project a little earlier than anticipated.
We began this magazine in 2014 with the intention of introducing our readers to the many wonders the Midwest has to offer. That we are more than merely “flyover territory.” We are incredibly proud of the 12 issues we’ve created, and have made lifelong friendships with so many people along the way. As we continue on, we will forever be supportive of the good people who choose to call this region home. We are proud to live and create here.
